The 2022 Hyundai Tucson comes in four trim options. These are, with their starting MSRPs:
- 2022 Hyundai Tucson SE: $24,950
- 2022 Hyundai Tucson SEL: $26,650
- 2022 Hyundai Tucson N Line: $31,000
- 2022 Hyundai Tucson Limited: $34,850
It should also be noted that Hyundai plans to offer hybrid options for the Hyundai Tucson. So, if you would like to get a hybrid or plug-in hybrid version of one of these trims, you should explore if they are available in your area yet.
2022 Hyundai Tucson SE
The first trim option available for the 2022 Hyundai Tucson is the SE. However, despite the fact that this trim level is the most basic option available, it still comes packed with features. The exterior of the 2022 Hyundai Tucson SE has 17-inch alloy wheels, an acoustic laminated windshield, intermittent wipers in both the front and rear, daytime running lights, and LED headlights.
As for the interior, you’ll find plenty of features that lead to a comfortable and enjoyable ride. This includes cloth upholstery, an 8.0-inch infotainment center touch screen, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto capabilities, and a six-speaker audio system. As for cargo space, there’s a 60/40 split-folding rear bench, giving you extra cargo space when you need it.
Finally, even though it’s the base trim level, there are plenty of safety features to keep you and your passengers safe. Some of the safety features you’ll find in the base trim include automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, driver attention warning, and a lane keep assist system.
2022 Hyundai Tucson SEL
The next trim level is the SEL, which adds a few more critical features without increasing the price too much. On the outside, you’ll get features such as heated side mirrors, turn signal indicators on the mirrors, roof rails, tinted rear windows, and LED taillights.
The upgrades in the SEL trim are more apparent once you get inside, though. The infotainment center receives an upgrade for starters, now coming with SiriusXM radio and compatibility with the Hyundai BlieLink app. In addition to this, both of the front seats are directly heated and you have more adjustment options when it comes to the driver’s seat, allowing you to set it just how you like it. Finally, some other comfort features that come standard with the SEL trim include rear climate control vents, dual-zone automatic climate control, and ambient interior lighting options.
As for safety features, the SEL trim adds adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alerts, and an improved emergency braking system.
2022 Hyundai Tucson N Line
Next up is the 2022 Hyundai Tucson N Line. This is a new trim option available starting with the 2022 models, following other vehicles produced by Hyundai, including the Elantra and Kona. Some of the changes to the N Line are obvious from the start. For example, there’s now black window molding, unique 19-inch wheels, and some premium front and rear fascias. In addition, this is the first trim level to come with the hands-free power liftgate.
One big change for the interior is that the 2022 Hyundai Tucson N Line offers faux suede for a more luxurious interior. The interior also has leather stitched in red, for a unique look you won’t find in other vehicles. Finally, the other significant changes for the N Line are mostly related to the entertainment features, as it now comes with a premium eight-speaker Bose audio system, a 10.3-inch instrument cluster, and a wireless charging pad.
2022 Hyundai Tucson Limited
Finally, there’s the 2022 Hyundai Tucson Limited trim option. This is the option to go with if you want an SUV that’s packed with every possible feature and comfort. Starting on the outside, this trim level changes out the standard LED headlights found in the other trims and replaces them with LED projector units for better visibility. You’ll also find chrome accents on your side mirrors, some unique 19-inch wheels, and many other design changes throughout the exterior.
Then there’s the interior. Perhaps the most noticeable difference on the inside is the addition of a panoramic sunroof. Once you’re sitting in the front seats, you’ll notice the leather-trimmed upholstery, heated and ventilated seats, and an eight-way power-adjustable driver’s seat. But before you think that only the front seats have these comfort features, the rear seats are heated as well.
There are a few other interior features to know about for the Limited trim. This includes a large 10.3-inch infotainment display, a heated steering wheel, and 64 color options for ambient light. As for safety features, there’s a remote innovative park assist, parking sensors in the front and back, a 360-degree camera, and a blind-view monitoring system.
