The holiday market features various festive activities for kids, including a movie in the park, an ice-skating rink, a train ride, and photos with Santa. Due to limited parking spaces, there’ll be no public parking at the Community Park. Instead, parking will be available at Willow Springs Middle School and Hart Elementary School. There’ll be a shuttle service that’ll start at 5:30 p.m. to transport attendees.
Lights on the Farm
This holiday season, the Heritage Farmstead Museum’s special event, Lights on the Farm returns for its second annual run. Holiday at the Arboretum
The enchanting Holiday at the Arboretum has officially returned to the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Gardens. The main garden transforms into a delightful winter wonderland with the help of The Dazzling Musical Tree, a massive, animated tree filled with over 42 thousand lights. The 12 Days of Christmas gazebos are another tradition with newly updated characters.
After checking out the main garden attractions, head to the Pauline and Austin Neuhoff Family Christmas Village. You can find Santa Claus in his house working on his sleigh. Don’t worry; he’s always available for photo opportunities. He visits the village every night after Thanksgiving until Christmas Eve.
The Holiday at the Arboretum will feature a new exhibit, The Art of Faith & Culture, which highlights the city’s diversity through the lens of designer Michael Hamilton. Explore three of the world’s most celebrated holidays: Christmas, Kwanzaa, and Hanukkah. This exhibit runs from Nov. 10 through Jan. 3. Discover these beautiful traditions in the historic arboretum.
