Glimmering lights, masquerades, artisan markets, and much more are included in our extensive list.

Lucas Country Christmas Holiday Market

The City of Lucas will be holding its Country Christmas Holiday Market on December 2, 2022. This festive event, located at the Lucas Community Park at 665 Country Club Road in Allen, through the Lucas Farmers Market is perfect for the whole family. The holiday market features various festive activities for kids, including a movie in the park, an ice-skating rink, a train ride, and photos with Santa. There’ll also be a special tree-lighting ceremony that you won’t want to miss. If that isn’t enough to tempt you, In-N-Out Burgers will provide free meals.

Due to limited parking spaces, there’ll be no public parking at the Community Park. Instead, parking will be available at Willow Springs Middle School and Hart Elementary School. There’ll be a shuttle service that’ll start at 5:30 p.m. to transport attendees.

Lights on the Farm

This holiday season, the Heritage Farmstead Museum’s special event, Lights on the Farm returns for its second annual run. This historic farm is transformed into a winter wonderland with more than a million lights and several animated holiday displays. The event, which takes place outdoors, features a quarter-mile trail showcasing First Choice Lights’ holiday light creations.

This event is perfect for families who want to experience the holiday season with a new tradition. You’ll enjoy a 20-foot Christmas tree and a variety of holiday refreshments. After checking out the lights, head over to take a picture with Santa in his workshop. Registration in advance is required to ensure that you can attend the event. You can see the light displays from Nov. 25 to Dec. 30. Tickets are free for toddlers, $7 for kids aged 3-12, and $12 for adults. The farm will open at 6 p.m., with the last entry granted at 9 p.m.

Jared’s Epic Blaster Battle: Holiday Edition

Jared’s Epic Blaster Battle: Holiday Edition is coming to the Dallas Cowboys and AT&T Stadium. Just seven days before Christmas, this event promises to be fun for the whole family. Awaken your inner child and experience the largest foam blaster battle of all time. Everything is bigger and better in Texas, after all.

In 2016, Jared’s Epic Blaster Battle broke the Guinness World Record for the largest toy pistol fight. For their first-ever holiday event, Jared’s will bring a new theme, music, and epic battles for your viewing pleasure. Your ticket includes entry to the four-hour series of foam fighting battles, including over 15 different holiday-themed battles featuring exclusive character surprises and photo-ops.

You’ll have access to over 20,000 free foam darts that you can take home at the end of the night. This is a once-in-a-lifetime chance to play with your blaster toys on an NFL Stadium field. You’ll also have the opportunity to take a self-guided tour of the stadium, including the locker rooms and cheerleading areas. The event will be held on Dec. 18, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tier one tickets start at $16 and go up to $32 at tier five.

DFW Young & Social Holiday Masquerade Soirée

Join DFW Young & Social Club for a night of Christmas magic and mystery. The Holiday Masquerade Soiree will be a night to remember, filled with dazzling lights, twirling dresses, and masked strangers. The event will be held in the club’s Christmas lounge, where you can enjoy snacks and non-alcoholic drinks. The evening will feature a beginning Foxtrot and Waltz lesson, with no partner required.

Bring your friends, or meet new people, and enjoy a beautiful night out under the Christmas lights. Your ticket serves as an automatic entry into the raffle for prizes. Dress to impress, as there’ll be a selfie station available. The event will take place from 8:30 p.m. to 12 a.m. on Dec. 10. Don’t forget your mask and get there early so you don’t miss the Waltz and Foxtrot lesson at 8:45 p.m. Advanced tickets are $25 and will go up to $35 the day of the event if they haven’t sold out.

Holiday at the Arboretum

The enchanting Holiday at the Arboretum has officially returned to the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Gardens. The main garden transforms into a delightful winter wonderland with the help of The Dazzling Musical Tree, a massive, animated tree filled with over 42 thousand lights. The 12 Days of Christmas gazebos are another tradition with newly updated characters.

After checking out the main garden attractions, head to the Pauline and Austin Neuhoff Family Christmas Village. You can find Santa Claus in his house working on his sleigh. Don’t worry; he’s always available for photo opportunities. He visits the village every night after Thanksgiving until Christmas Eve.

The Holiday at the Arboretum will feature a new exhibit, The Art of Faith & Culture, which highlights the city’s diversity through the lens of designer Michael Hamilton. Explore three of the world’s most celebrated holidays: Christmas, Kwanzaa, and Hanukkah. This exhibit runs from Nov. 10 through Jan. 3. Discover these beautiful traditions in the historic arboretum. Daytime admission is $12 for children, $20 for adults, and $16 for seniors.
